DESCRIPTION:The annual Beaux Arts Festival of Art\, Saturday and Sunday\, Jan. 18 & 19\, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.\, is a juried art festival that takes place at the University of Miami to benefit its Lowe Art Museum. This FREE event draws thousands of artists and art enthusiasts from across the Florida region. There will be art work on view and for sale from approximately 230 exhibitors\, as well as  jewelry\, crafts\, food\, live music and activities for kids. In addition\, the Lowe Arts Museum will offer free admission all weekend. \nBeaux Arts is a nonprofit volunteer organization. All proceeds from the festival help fulfill the organization’s mission to bring art events to our community and to support the Lowe Art Museum.

DESCRIPTION:Photo courtesy of Arno Elias.\n\n \nThe Sagamore Miami Beach Hotel will host “I Am Not a Trophy\,” a first of its kind innovative\, immersive and education art exhibition during 2019 Art Week. The exhibition will open to the public starting at 9 p.m. on Wednesday\, Dec. 4\, and remain on view through Feb. 2020. The opening and exhibition are free and open to the public 24/7.\n\n“I’m Not a Trophy” is entirely dedicated to endangered species and indigenous cultures that is centered on the work of the esteemed French artist and wildlife photographer Arno Elias. The exhibition is named after Elias’ charitable organization dedicated to creating greater awareness for the rapid extinction of endangered species and indigenous cultures around the world through a visually compelling campaign.\n\n\nCurated by Sebastien Laboureau\, resident art advisor of The Sagamore Hotel\, “I’m Not a Trophy” is presented in partnership with Markowicz Fine Art\, the exclusive representative of Arno Elias in South Florida.
