United for Nicaragua Concert Presented by Miami Dade College’s Kendall Campus June 30

Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Kendall Campus will host the United for Nicaragua (Unidos Por Nicaragua) Concert at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 30, organized by the Kendall Campus chapter of Phi Beta Lambda, a national organization for business students, and Paz Nicaragua. Singers/songwriters Luis Enrique Mejia Godoy, Katia Cardenal, Nina and Sebastian Cardenal will perform.

Since the political crisis erupted in Nicaragua last April, hundreds of people have been killed, mostly teenagers and university students. All proceeds from the concert will go to the Nicaraguan Foundation for Economic and Social Development (FUNIDES) to provide humanitarian relief. Come show support for Nicaragua!

Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased in advance here.
