This weekend marks the opening of New World Symphony’s new season and its 100th wallcast, which will now be projected in 4K Ultra High Definition. The season opens at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, featuring music by Bethoven, Scriabin and Berlioz
Eight year ago, the New World Symphony began simultaneously showing its live concerts taking place inside on the building’s 7,000 square foot eastern facade for free. Viewers can enjoy the concerts from the comfort of their blankets and lawn chairs at SoundScape Park located adjacent to the hall. In addition, the wallcast is used to project free outdoor movies during the cooler months.
