What does a notorious drug lord and an Android phone have in common? You might say nothing if you haven’t heard of the Escobar Fold 1, a new Android fordable cellphone brought to you by Jesús Escobar Gaviria, AKA “El Osito” who co-founded the Medellin Cartel. At 72, Jesús, is betting against Apple and other Samsung products claiming that his Fold 1, is virtually indestructible and better than other fold-able phones on the market.
The Fold 1 comes in two flavors: 128GB version at $349 or a 512GB for $499. Both have impressive specs. The phone is as over the top as Pablo himself and the marketing doesn’t fall short either. The use of half naked women gushing over the phone is guaranteed to get attention.

Other fold-able phones include the Samsung Galaxy Fold which costs almost $2000 or the $1500 Motorola Razr. If you want to pay more, you can splurge on the $2,600 Huawei Mate X.
